They were naked to humiliate them - part of the torture process is to weaken the individual psycologically.

Why did they take the pics - as a show of power over the prisoners and to further humiliate them.

The pics were taken 3 years ago I think

Not shut down but like a bad hotel, under new management - Iraqi.
