Bush didn't go there for the oil! Doesn't anyone remember what happen on 9/11???? 2,973 people died; another 24 are missing and presumed dead.
Would you just sit there? |

Please prove that he got oil in Iraq. You can't because he didn't. If we had gotten oil, we would be seeing an abundance of oil or gas and we aren't. We are seeing higher prices and they are cutting back on oil consumption.
When are you people going to get it through your head that oil had nothing to do with Iraq? All the oil in Iraq goes to the Arabs and OPEC. Please do a little research before you make a fool of yourself again. |

This was about monopolizing the oil supply for the people in control of the oil and military/weapons industry. Bush has little power in the grand scheme of things. |

It is about the ability to manipulate the price of oil,
Oil was at $22 a barrel before the invasion, Chevron was barely making $2 billion a quarter.
Oil is around $70 now and profits are in the hundreds of Billions.
It's about how much money the oil execs in Texas and Mobilhoma make.
PS Funny you should bring up Canada. Exxon and chevron have to keep oil above $60 a barrel to get that shale conversion going. |

Difficult to say, but not relevant. Had he not invaded Iraq then Israel would have been disappointed and Halliburton would not have realized the level of profit they did. |
