When someone in his family goes off to war, and we know that this will never happen. Bush is too stubborn and bull headed to ever admit that he was wrong, he will just keep on this collision course, until his lame duck *** is out of the white house. |

If we insisted on sending his two drunken nypho daughters to the middle east, he may think about ending the war. Nothing will convince this man that he made a mistake in starting this way and that he is continuing to make a mistake about continuing this war. |

He will never do that. He has committed us so deep that it will take years to get out . His leaving office might speed it up some , sorry to say .
If we are looking to securing this country then why don't we close our borders ???? |

He will bring our men back when the job is done, any sooner would be a disservice to them, the Iraqis, and the men and women who've died to see this mission through. |

He is on his way out man he only cares about securing that damn oil not our soldiers,I really don't think he loses any sleep over our fallen comrades. But he does if they set fire to an oil tanker. The man is doing Daddy's work.It will take a democrat to bring them home.Thats just my opinion. |

WHEN we win the war!
Put more effort in supporting our President than you do badmouthing.
Lives are lost in a war nobody wants to lose another life but thats what our military is for not just for them to pay your way thru collage or to travel.
ALL volunteer service! |

I don't believe that anything will convince President Bush to abandon the mission at this stage in the game. The results would be disastrous. Before you jump to the conclusion that it's the thing to do, make sure you think long and hard about all the consequences. What will Iraq look like if it is abandoned now? How will that affect hostility towards the U.S. and its allies? Who will swoop in to take control of the vulnerable country when we aren't there to help them regain control and stabilize the nation. What message does it send to the troops and their families (who HAVE been the ones sacrificing) if we abandon the mission at this stage in the game? Your efforts were futile and in vain? Every action has a reaction. Things just aren't that simple, and the President knows this. I just cannot fathom when this great nation became one of whiny quitters and sore losers. When did we begin to confuse the line between hard and impossible? |

Peace, stability, and security in Iraq.
That's what will convince him.
Nothing else is acceptable.
You are asking us to surrender and that's not what we want to do. |

Nothing can convince him short of whatever it took to convince Saddam to stop.
They both in their own rights are madmen.
The only difference being.... Bush did it in broad daylight, |

He knows the troop toll. He's stuck between a rock and a hard place now. If he does surge the troop levels to control the capital, it should be followed by a swift replacement of our troops by Iraqis. We can't stay ... we should not have gone ... it was the wrong war at the wrong time. I have followed mid east affairs since Anwar Sadat was in power in Egypt. There is a great chance that we will end up fighting with Iran before all is said and done. |
