Does anybody have a website that lists all of the issued gear given to either a US Army or USMC soldier? I would like to know for a reenactment. By gear I mean exact weapon, camouflage, chest rig, sidearm, boots, etc. Thanks for any help!

Well i can tell you most of that. IF you are talking about a Marine Infantry rifleman fighting in the desert then he would have the tan MARPAT which is the new camouflage for the USMC, he would use an M16-A4 as his primary weapon, a beretta M9 pistol for his sidearm, he would be wearing tan combat boots, he would have some sort of body attachment for ammo and other accessories. A standard US military helmet, And a big tanned camouflage rucksack (backpack) with a sleeping mat rolled up. Just put lots of Pillows in the rucksack to make it look like it is very heavy. Unfortuetely the website that you need is government restricted. Try googling, consolidated issue facility. The first link should be for either usmc or army. If not try Valley Lions Corp. Both are the contrat supplier for the usmc. |
