USAF Basic Training ?

After I am done with basic will I have the normal 10 days ?

I have heard otherwise, it depends when your tech school starts ?

Correct me if I am wrong I would just like some closure.

It depends what you are. Active duty goes straight to tech school. Some active and reserve might get time to go home but you also could go straight to tech school. Also, if you're referring to recruiter assistance it's 14 days (they don't charge your leave) AFTER you graduate tech school.

The 10 days you are referring to are probably recruiter assistance leave to go home and help the recruiter for 10 days. You usually can sign up for it after your technical school graduates. It is non-chargable leave (vacation), but its non-chargeable because you are supposed to be working with your recruiter to help spread the word and tell your friends and family about your experience, etc.

You graduate BMT on Friday. You ship to Tech School early Monday morning. No leave in between.

Only the marine Corps gives 10 days leave after Boot.

You will go straight to Tech School after basic.

And pulls additional duties until your Tech School starts.

IE: mowing grass, vacuuming floors, cleaning, picking up trash.

Air Force Doesn't let you go home, you will go straight to tech school. You can do recruiters assistance after school though.

When you graduate from Basic Training, it'll be Friday, you'll have Saturday and Sunday to spend with your family and then you'll catch a flight to your Tech School location on Monday. You'll also have accrued 5 days of leave that, if approved, you could use. Keep in mind, this has to be approved.
