WHAT DOES RE-5L CODE MEAN, AND CAN I RE-ENLIST?

Funny enough i have a naval recruiter stumped by re-5l. noone has seemed to have heard of it. i have looked online...can't find it either. did somebody just make this up? i was in the air guard...recruitor had to fax my dd214 to some other state for more info on this re-5l mystery..can anyone help?

its interesting what i see some wrote about the military not taking any waivers...when did that start? and i wonder if there is any chance that i have a mistake on my dd214, and what problems that would entail....

anything requiring a waiver will NOT be approved by the Navy at this time..

Reenlistment code 5-L means you left the miltiary for a personal reason that you did not list.

Yes- you should have no problem with that reenlistment code.

Hate to break it to you...
But that site is for the Oregon State Government
and has nothing to do with the US Military...

I have been a VSO for 30+ years and
have never seen an RE-5L code...???
So I am going to ask around...

Please let me know what you find out...

Medical/Injury/Mental ???

As the young Lady stated...about the Navy...
None of the Services are granting any waivers...
