WHY is ISRAEL so STUPID?

I'm not claiming Israel is stupid because I have a fondness for arabs... no not at all.
What does bother me however:

#1 Israel has the second most powerful airforce to America (in terms of pilot training and technology)
Why is Israel sending in ground troops when they could just blow those damn Hezbollah Sand critters sky high using JDAM bombs?
You can't do anything against a jet fighter if you have no Air force.

#2 Why doesn't Israel simply send a squadron of F-16's to blow Iran's nuclear reactor SKY HIGH before it goes online? They did the same thing to Saddam Hussein's reactor in OSIRAK years ago!

#3 Israel sees the world is anti-semitic and anti-Israel...why not just do what they want to those sand critters and ignore what the world says?

If I was General this war would be over by now. 100% of Hezbollah would be dead.

I think Israel is stupid because their Parliament right now, for the first time in history, is entirely civilian rather than former military.

Perhaps its because the government is civilian and doesn't completely know how to handle Hezbollah without destroying the Lebanon infrastructure.

Maybe Israel just wants to depopulate a buffer zone?

1. Because the Hezbollah uses Lebanese human flesh as protection for militants and Israel is trying to minimize civilian casualties, even if these civilians are Lebanese.

1. As has been proven through many military conflicts, you can't win wars by air power alone.

2. It's a much more difficult military problem now then it was then. The Iranians are not what the Iraqis were back then. They have a sophisticated military and present a formidable opponent.

3. Because Israel still has to do business with the world.

#1. they know how to fight a war not like our shock and awe b.s. #2, Iran will be comming shortly usa and isreal are working on it behind the scenes. both want iran down, usa will let isreal strike firsrtrhen usa will back them up as the good guys vs. the terrorists.
