WHY is this US Air Force wife telling my fiance these things?

Ok, my fiance is HOH (hard of hearing) which means he can't fully hear. His translator, is also the wife of a US AF man.

My fiance sometimes talks about to them how I want to join the military, only when he is asked about me though, but this woman, so far, has told him:

All military females get raped
All military females shouldn't BE in the military
All females get disrespected
(Which I know ISN'T true, the military life you lead will reflect who you are & how you act.)

Meanwhile shes telling him things like this & she's getting away with it.

Why is she doing this? Shouldn't she just mind her own business? Maybe SHE was raped?

I have told my fiance to stop talking about ME & MILITARY at the same time with this woman, so far.

no one can really answer why she is doing this except her. I dont think it is right her thinking this way if she is in the army tho, I wouldnt want someone like that watchin my back in a firefight

Get him a new translator if you have a problem with her.

You says she is telling "him things and getting away with it".....what do you mean "get away with it"? She can not be punished for telling him her misguided opinions. Fire her, and find another.

EDIT: No I don't understand. You are on this board 24/7 ranting about your wonderful military family....why don't you ask them? And if you have a problem with her, take it up with your fiance/his translator. No one here knows why she is running her mouth. Go ask your family, the ones you make sure everyone on here knows about. I live in the military world myself, and I do understand resources are limited on certain isolated bases. But you, need to be an adult and take charge of things if you do not like how she is treating your fiance. OK?

I've been in the AF for 7 years and I've never even known anyone who was raped. There was one case while I was stationed at McChord where a male airman took the pants off a female airman while she was passed out drunk. He never raped her, but admitted that he was going to and then stopped - he got 10 years, the AF doesn't mess around with that crap. I plan on staying in for about another 23 years, and that's just because they won't let you stay past 30, or it would be longer.

yes first off.. the raping and what not mostly happens with single soldiers.. in the single soldier housing.. so if you are married your wife should be in the housing area.. with you.. 2nd most the females are targeted by drugs and alcohol... so your wife shouldnt be in that situation.. im not saying the females are at fault if thats what yous are getting at...
