Want to see how British troops are bringing democracy to Iraq?

Oh dear god, I can't stand to see a child in pain. What big tough soldiers they are. I know that not all soldiers are bad, but the stress of war can bring out many different parts of your character. I hate how war causes people to act in such a way. And that camera person needs a good a**-kicking himself. War is hell, and should be avoided at all costs.

If you were as sharp as you think you are, you would have noticed that those were Iraqi Police Forces. Not British or American. That is their way in Iraq...

Too bad we didnt get to see why they were taken into custody.

This is basically the same thing as the Rodney King incident in Los Angeles that started the LA riots.

The only thing is we didnt get to hear about how Rodney King was high on meth, and attacking police officers after they had a car chase with him. Instead we saw police officers beating him down and it looked like for no reason.

The use of force can be taken out of context even if it is justified. Maybe it was, or wasnt in this case we dont know since we dont have the full story.

How about instead watch the video of the soldiers bringing teddy bears and wheel chairs to kids in Iraq that are effected by muscular dystrophy. Or the soldiers like my self giving kids MRE's and piggy back rides. Your a loser get over your power trip and learn the facts why do we only focus on the random small events that are effects of mentally disturbed sick people instead of the majority and truth of what really takes place. .................. I've seen it before. This is not unlikely for any governments military, they aren't trained to be polite and politically correct, they're trained to do battle and live a harsh, demanding lifestyle. Thats bound to bleed over onto some teens chunking rocks at you when you're told that your mission is to defend them. I imagine it pisses some soldiers off pretty bad. Battle stress is not to be taken lightly.

yes these are british troops however these wern't all children,
protesting is gathering signatures for a partition or writing to your member of government not throwing petrol bombs, stones and firing automatic weapons. another point of note is the fact that the compound where the troops were was morter bombed constantly the night before.
once captured you have to dominate your prisoner to enforce your will onto him, giving them a little clip is fine, all the soldiers were investigated for this incident and punished if it was deemed they stepped over the mark.
for real graphic violence you need not look as far as iraq but in your own inner cities. people in glass houses shouldn.t throw stones now should they?

I've seen it. It was shown on the BBC ages ago. This kind of thing goes on all the time in war, and no, it's not pretty. More reason to avoid conflict.

Sorry but I have no way of knowing if that is actually British troops or the Israelis in Gaza because that is what it looks like to me. Can you tell me what is it in the video that is evidence that is British troops in Iraq?

Oh well I turned up the volume, that guy sounds like a lunatic I wonder what happened to him to make him act like that really. Them cops, whatever, they are detaining someone I really don't care. I would never throw stuff at cops especially as a child.

In 1917 the Brits brought Democracy to Iraq with poison gas.
They did it again in 1941, and now they are back.
They brought us Democracy until we threw them out.
They brought Democracy to Afghanistan five times so far

This is not at all surprising. It is also barbaric. Its the bully tactic. "Oh Im' the big bad wolf--don't play with me" No wonder we have so much domestic abuse (in the US AND abroad). These men bring their totally illegal behavior right back home with them.....
I would offer that this type of behavior is exhibited every single in Iraq.

Last night CNN was bragging about the US -- talking about "YouTube" and how t was going to show OUR men with the upper hand......but they were fighting MEN...not children.

...and please, Bringing "teddy bears and candy to starving Iraqi chilldren doesn't even BEGIN to help these children or their families get back on their feet. It's not as though the CANDY is a nice BREAKFAST or DINNER for crying out loud. I'm not at all impressed. We give away leftover candy, cheese and flour to all third world countries.
