This seems pretty complicated, given the conditions that the rebel guerrilla groups were subjected to under the government but also considering the brutality of the war. What do you think?

JK. It's amazing what went on in Central America that most Americans aren't even aware of. I'm sure most don't know not only that the Guatemalan Civil War was the longest civil war in Latin America, but they probably can't even find Guatemala on a map.
