On the calendar of history, your question is 'recent history'. Mr. Kennedy was President of the US for 1,000 days. From 1961 to 1963. He was assassinated in 1963 in Dallas, Texas. Based on the above information, I hope you can figure out if the late Mr. Kennedy was President before or After Mr. Bush #1 and/or Mr. Bush #2. And if you cannot figure it out, you're really in deep doo doo.

George W. Bush was President from January 20, 2001-January 20, 2009

So yes, John F. Kennedy was President before either Bush were President.
