im 19 with a dead end job wishing i could go back but i don't know if i should i mean watching the stuff on the news really makes me wana sign up but when i think about it agen i dont know if i can hack going away again but theres that little voice telling me i should im confused :( any ideas or tips would be awesome

i injured my back and got put in hunter i then opt out so i could let it heal but im all ok now

You're just gonna have to go down the AFCO restart your app.
It should still be there, but you will have to have a new medical and redo your psychometric test.
That's if you decide to join up again, but...
With the RM as you know you have to really want it and always be putting in 110% effort.
I don't know what week you got too but when you get to about week 16 it starts to become fun, you learn your soldiering skills(AWESOME), the training staff become a bit less harsh on you and you have really bonded with your oppos.
Once your out of training and got your green lid, life becomes so relaxed, most days simple 9-5 job
But Afghanistan is brutal, if you don't think you will be able to cope with going away for 6 months and living like a tramp lack of sleep and eating shite food for the duration, just have a think, is this really for you?
I can't really give much more than that since it's up to you sorry, but what ever you do, best of luck too and hopefully next year I shall be seeing you with your green lid. |

If you think you should do it... then do it. If you don't like it eventually then leave. It's better than civilian life in one way which is a chance to improve yourself and your skills. |
