today a friend told me she has slept with a male nco from another unit.
The facts on this male nco:
he lives in another city, at a different base, w/a different mos/different mission
he married (this is why I am worried, i told her to stop but she obviously can do what she wants)
he is an e-5 she is e-4
they are different branches of the military
I know the consequences, but how likely is it they will get caught?
they don't interact thru the day i know b/c she works with me and he never has a reason to come to our base

she outranks me btw, so I don't wanna be the one to do something and then she come at me full force... she also on a promotable status, so I think next month she gets her e-5... so this affair would ruin her promotion and i am sure drop him a few ranks

she's blabbing to people she outranks, she's probably blabbing to everyone.
How close are the bases? Do they repeatively hang out after 1700 where the entire world can see them?
If they are smart, they do crap OFF BASE, but it's stupid he's cheating on his wife... when you get caught, pay back is a *****... |

Since he is in a different unit and he is enlisted rank has nothing to do with it but since he is married then is he could get in trouble for adultery and in the army they take that serious. Chances of getting caught depends if his wife catches on or someone in their chain of command catches them |

Depends on how smart they are about covering their tracks. Depends on how many times they meet up. Depends on how suspicious the wife is (will she check email, text messages, etc??)
It depends on alot of things.
One thing I do recommend is that you stay WAAAY out of it. I wouldn't breathe a word about it to anyone. |

Find out his name, rank, mailing address ect...
Send him a letter stating that if he continues a relationship that commits adultery, and that is strictly in direct violation of Army orders, he will be exposed to his chain of command and to his wife.
Also in the letter write him sincerely on how he is disregarding his marital commitments and vows.
With this effort, the adulterous relationship will hopefully stop.
Sitting back and doing nothing might save your ***, but in doing this you can remain safe, and save a marriage.
Make sure the letter is anonymous.
Also talk to your chaplin about the situation...see what he say. |
