What's the terrorists' problem?

I thought US forces are in those countries because the government couldn't control the outlaws. then why is it so that i see students and doctor muslims conducting terrorist acts. are they brainwashed or very wise.

It's all indoctrination,
I worked in Iraq and had an Iraqi Doctor with me when I went out. He was telling me how the Holocaust during WW2 was all Israeli propoganda. He prayed whenever he had the opportunity and was a very devout muslim.
All this surprised me as he was a very highly educated and very intelligent but still believed everything the Immams at his mosque told him.

the main reason for terrorism is communal enmity and rivalry. people are also antagonised on social issues that make them take up terrorist acts.
