NOTHING AT ALL. IT REALLY MOTIVATES US GRUNTS TO SEE FEMALES IN OUR FORWARD OPERATING BASES OVERSEAS. ITS HARD FOR WOMEN TO LOOK GOOD IN CAMMIES, AND THE ONES THAT DO ARE KEEPERS. They're not prevented or discouraged from joining. I just think it's a problem that they're given lower fitness standards to reach and they're prevented from serving in most combat-specific roles.

nothing really i just think that some people of some societies see it a MALE thing to do but i know this girl thats in ROTC and shes doing great i still don't know what military field she will join but which everyone she chooses i know she will be great at it...its not that she a girl but shes really into it so if you feel like joining join

Nothing, they are allowed to , but they cannot serve in combat jobs ( Infantry, tank crewman, combat engineer etc , etc )

Nothing. Some of the best officers and enlisted Marines I ever worked with were Women Marines.

Women give birth whereas one man can impregnate a load of women - that's why men dying is less important. Our leadrers can send all the young men off to die and if lots of them do they can sort it out in a generation - if all of the women die it's much harder to replenish the labour force.

Wow, now THAT is a good question!
I suppose that one needs to be answered by YOU.
You need to go into this one understanding what it means.
The Armed Forces in general would put you in danger.
The Marine Corp. are First Responders.
They go in first.
They go into the bad situation and take control.
That means the most danger.
So... #1) ARE you willing to put your life on the line for your fellow Marines in defense of your country?
ALSO, because you are a woman, TWO problems arise.
a) Woman are naturally not as strong as men.
So, #2) ARE you willing to overcome the strength handicap in order to achive the ability to do the same job with excellence?
and b) ANYONE in the combat zone have a reasonable chance of being taken prisoner.
WOMEN in the combat zone, taken prisoner, have a pretty good likelihood of being raped in captivity.
So, #3) ARE you willing to be the defense of your country, and if necessary, sacrificing your body without losing yourself?

I am not really trying to scare you out of this, but these are the facts.
IF you want to join and not be in the combat zone, there are many jobs in Logistics that are non-combat related.
