The US as for training and weapons. In size, that honor has to go to China.

Weaponry: USA, but close between UK and Russia.

Manpower: China, (mostly reserves)

Overall: probably still the three at the top. Weaponry and tech play a huge role, especially in reducing deaths.

The United States of America of course. That's why we can do whatever we want, and the rest of the world can only sit back and ***** about it. We put more money into our military budget than the next three military country's combined. We may not have the most man power, but we have the most sophisticated combat technologies in the world.
But aside from our advanced weaponry and enormous military budget, there are at least a dozen other countries out there that also have enough nuclear devices to destroy the world many times over. Although we would dominate any country when it came to a non-nuclear war, if it ever came down to World War III, it wouldn't matter who's military was the best because the world as we know it would probably end from a nuclear holocaust.

Nobody comes close to the quality of weapons and training of the USA.
China has a lot of cannon fodder.

There can be no doubt that it is the United States.

The U.S. spends about $711 billion per year on its military. The entire content of Europe spends only $289 billion, and all of Asia, including China (#2 in spending) and North Korea (#4) spend $222 billion.

The U.S. spends nearly 6 times what #2 China spends and over 10 times what #3 Russia spends.

This is AFTER it came out that the U.S. was spending twice what the rest of the world was spending combined only two years ago.

Not to mention, the United States is the only country to have permanent bases established on the sovereign soil of foreign countries. There are about 700 United States military bases throughout the Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.

when it comes to actual trainings it will always be the Philippines.
but when it comes to weapons.. of course US.
But we cannot just ignore the fact the AUSTRALIANS were also trained to fight.

That is why we have this BALIKATAN , wherein the Americans where being expose to actual battles in grounds thru the help of the Armed Forces of the Phils.
In return they are exposing to the Filipino soldiers their latest weapons in the battle fields.

Don't deny it , coz there a lot of Filipinos who works for the US forces.

United States has the best. Other counties have very out-dated weapondry. If they do have pretty decent weapons we probably donated it to them. The only problem we're facing now is how the insurgeants in Iraq shoot at us and then disapear in the crowd and IED's. But if we faced a coventional army we'd kick their as into next week.

The British Army has the best training and my former Regiment is the Finest in the World The Special Air Service Regiment...No Contest.

The U.S., however if you put every american soldier with a rifle and every Chinese citizen with only a stick on a battlefield I'd hedge my bet on the Chinese
