there are no good wars, but it is unavoidable sometimes. words don't always work in this world of ours. and just because you wouldn't attack your neighbor doesn't mean he won't attack you, so pray for peace and prepare for war. that way you are ready no matter what happens.

I really hate War. But this is life i guess and sometimes we have to do what we do not want to do to keep people free.I wish there were no such word.

That though sometimes necessary it is at the same time something very horrible and terrible to be part of. From a personal standpoint, it was the smells of codite that I always remember. Like most veterans, I don't like war all that much!

War and violence is a part of life. There is always people/countries trying to do what they want. Should we sit by and just watch as the world turns? We did this in WWII. What did it get us? Could we have stopped the war sooner if we had enter it at the beginning.

Even after the attack of Pearl Harbor, we could have stayed neutral. If we had, what would have happened?

Sometimes you have to fight. When you have too, give it everything you can. Unfortunately, we don't.

It has its purposes and is a viable form of foreign policy. There are some times when war is absolutely necessary and there are times when politicians use it to follow their own personal agenda.

War used to be a fight for freedom, a sacrifice of those that proudly serrved their country. Back in those days war was necessary as retalitation to an attack or to help free a country under jurisdiction.

War these days is something totally different. Being in the military for 6 years, I've seen the side of war that the media chooses not to show. I've seen the unnecessary deaths and tradegy caused by war ravaged countries. War as it is now, is not necessary, it's a struggle for power, for fear from others.

It is the worst thing in human nature; However, even though it is undesirable sometimes it is necessary. I wish that war was just a story from the history book, but sadly this is reality and war is needed. BUT NOT IN IRAQ!

Well, I think we ought to be putting more money and resources into solving the problems of the world, not adding new problems.

If you must fight a war, fight a good, just war, with a good cause, and a good exit strategy.
