You're not being reasonable asking for a detailed description of two complex conflicts like the ones you mention. And I'm afraid there aren't really any similarities between them.

Falklands - Fascist Dictatorship invades to make itself more popular at home
Gulf War - Iraq couldn't afford to pay back loans to Kuwait so came up with an argument about 'slant drilling' to justify an invasion
Both were acts of aggression and both were dealt with in the correct manner.

the cause of the falklands was the argentian invasion - they saw the islands as theirs where as territorially speaking, they belonged to the british empire

the cause of the gulf war (1) was the iraqi invasion of the kurdish north and the iradication of the refugess - which the west took a disliking too after a series of events by saddam hussein

the cause of gulf war (2) was the inferrence that iraq was developing WMD's.

so not really a lot of comparison

Falklands was a response to the dictate ship in Argentina invading the islands . this saved Margaret thatchers *** because at the time she was very unpopular . she then went on to win next election.
the Iraq war was a response to Iraq a long time friend of America invading Kuwait , a stretch of land that was once Iraqi territory . America used this invasion to open bases in Saudi etc they are still their the common thing in both wars the UK and America were both heavily involved America supplied nearly all weaponry to UK in Falklands even thou they were supposed to be"neutral"

If I join the National Guard, will I be deployed to Iraq?
