What are the odds of a military strike because of the captured british soldiers?

i think millitary action is a given....the only question is what kind of action......i would say they will probally level key targets with warheads launched from air and sea...im thinking little to no troops on the ground....just enough bombing to set them back a few decades financially and from a nucleur persepctive as well.

The U.S. Military will likely not strike. But the Iranians have bigger prblems, see, they took hostage British Sailors and Marines. And ever since, they have been stalling and refusing to release them, over what is, at worst, a miscommunication and fault with Iranian GPS systems. See, before too long, the Royal Marines are going to decide they dont like a few of their own being held hostage as they are. And when they decide to go into Iran and retireve their Brothers-in-Arms, Well....lets just say that Iran will have seen better days. There is a saying among the U.S. Military, and it goes like this. "No better friend, No worse Emeny" And by god, that sure as hell hits the nail on the head when it comes to the Royal Marines, Iran sure as hell picked the wrong group to pick a fight with, and there will be hell to pay if even 1 of those Marines has been mistreated while in Iranian custody. And The British Royal Marines will be the debt collectors.

The odds of a military strike over 15 soldiers is slim to none. Now if it were an attack on a base or something substantial like that, then the odds would be greater. Remember, Al Qaida bombed the USS cole killing some 80 soldiers and the USA did nothing about it.

its up to the Brits, but a also heard of Russia trying to bully Iran and pressure them into paying Russia what they own them for nuclear reactors Iran is slow in paying for. Russia warned of a pending attack called operation bite. google it.

Bush made the USA look incompetent in Afghanistan, then in Iraq. I think that is more then enough. Slowly, the world realizes, that maybe it not only looks like incompetence, maybe it is, what it looks like. (By the way, a 300 pound gorilla has the IQ of a 11/2 year old)

It looks like they are giving the UN and diplomacy a shot. I expect they will exhaust that route before they do a military strike - assuming the hostages are kept alive and well.
I don't think Blair will act aggressively without support from the UN.
If anything does go down.
Look for the price of oil to go up. Way up.
That will affect many countries in the world in a big way. And if your economy is not um, totally robust now, it could go into a bit of a tailspin.
