You can only acheive scout sniper if you Shoot Expert on the rifle qualification, Must have a 1st calss score on your PFT, must obtaine a GT score of 100 or higher and have a rank of PFC, Lcpl, Cpl, and SGT. and you absolutley have to be in Infantry before thinking of being a Sniper for the Marines. |

The biggest asset will be your score at the rifle range. If you score in the upper 2% you can be considered.
There are exceptions to this rule and there are many more considerations about stealth abilities,etc..l |
