What are the requirements for getting chartered out on FCP?

Me and my wife are separating we will have full joint custody can i still get out on FCP

Not really since you will still have someone to watch the child if you are deployed unless she is also in and gets deployed also. All you would have to do is put the child with the mother and off you go. It isn't quite that easy to get out of the military anymore Hope you have a good job lined up before you get out of the military since you will be paying child support.

we have a guy in my unit getting out on it now...his wife is enlisted as well...the thing is u need a day care provider during ur normal work hours....if u don't have one...then u have an inadequate FCP...which is grounds for separation...

If you and your Wife are Separating...
and you are in the Service...

She will have Full Custody of the Children...
You will have Visitation Rights and have to pay
Child Support...

Both of you cannot have "Full Custody"...
(No Court in the USA would ever agree to that...)
If you are separating that means you are not
living together...so only ONE gets Custody...
Being that You are the One in the Service
it won't be you...(Civilian Courts always favor the
the Non Service Parent...)

You have a Legal and Binding Contract to
full fill and will NOT be granted a Discharge...
for lack of a FCP,as your Ex will still have the Children...

That trick has been tried many Times before...
You know...file for Seperation obtain a Discharge
then get back together later...
If you do not have anything from the
Courts it isn't a Legal Seperation and
the Services will still list you as Married.
