im 5'11 and weigh 214 lbs i could pass any fitness test just wanted to know if the weight counts

Yes the weight does count, but if you are over, they can do a body fat analysis if you are over on both then you would just have lose some weight. |

THEY'LL TAPE YOU TO SEE IF ITS FAT OR MUSCLE IF ITS FAT THEN YOU'LL HAVE TO LOSE THE WEIGHT..THEY MAY NOT BE SO NICE ABOUT IT THOUGH. MY HUSBAND ALWAYS SEEMS OVER WEIGHT BUT PASSES THE TAPE TEST EVERY TIME HES JUST BUILT BIGGER SO THAT MAY BE YOUR CASE AS WELL. |

Weight will be a factor, however they should have a tape test to ensure that it is muscle, and not fat, after that just try to ensure that your head fits in the jar......Sorry, Army, couldn't help it |

It's all about heart and willpower. It's a good thing you can pass the physical requirements, but try losing a few pounds before bootcamp if you can. It will make your life down there easier. Good luck to you if you decide to join. |
