Vote and pay my taxes. We need all the resources possible and the support of the U.S. political leadership to crush terrorism while minimizing the physical harm to the brave people that make that support a meaningful reality.

I'm in Iraq until November.

I'm in the Army and I did a tour in Iraq. I'm teaching my children to defend themselves against anyone who wants to take their personal freedom away (like a bully). I don't have guns in my house, but my kids carry 3 golf balls a piece in their school book bags, and they know to throw them as hard as they can at someone's head who is trying to use violence to hurt as many people as that person can. I'm teaching my children to stand up for themselves and to question authority when things don't sound right. My family does not believe in staging public boycotts, but we do not buy gas from Citgo (from Chaves' Venezuela), or support any event that does not support the troops, or talks in favor of terrorism or against democracy.

I am a strong advocate of spreading the good news that the war against Islamic fundamentalism will be just as easy to win as the Cold War was because, out of necessity, we realized it had to be fought 99.999% on the ideological plane in front of the court of world opinion.

Osama bin Laden wants to take the world back to the Middle Ages.

How much sense does that make?

Do you think this is ever going to happen?

Fear is a thief!

It is the biggest thief we will ever know!

To allow yourself to be gripped by fear is to surrender your freedom.

People are in love with technology and the high standard of living that has been made possible by the various forms of technology.

If you research all of the contributions made to modern civilization, you will be amazed by how many of them have come directly from the Arab world.

When all of those Soviet missiles were aimed at all of our cities and towns, did we stop exercising and enjoying our freedoms?

Did we put our freedoms on hold until after the Cold War was won?

Life is far too short for us to let rabid jackals like Osama prevent our families from living out their daily lives filled with happiness instead of fear.

When the U.S. troops initially surged all the way to Baghdad, what was the number one thing that Iraqi citizens were scrambling to acquire?

Satellite dishes!

The technological device that Saddam didn't allow them to have.

An overnight cottage industry sprang up to manufacture these to the tune of $1500 each which was, at the time, the annual income of the average citizen in Iraq.

Don't let a mere piss ant like Osama shake you up!

Spread the goog news!

Live and love without looking over your shoulder.

And don't let politicians have power over your vote or your wallet by proposing to become your "godfather" and protector.

Leet, you pose an interesting question for each and every American citizen. I think many of us try in our own way to support the troops who are in country and when they return but as a nation maybe we need to do more? These young people are giving a great deal so many of us can go about our lives without having to get our hands dirty from this war on terror. Kudos's Leet, maybe its time that the citizens take a bigger part in this war on Terror.

United Peace....

A simple question: have you ever been to Iraq? Then I ask you this question....where you in Iraq in 2002-03? No? Then that explains everything. Guess what, genius? I'll let you in on a little secret: they found VX, sarin and GB in Iraq. How do I know this? I'm sitting next to one of the guys that was there in April of 2003 and say it with his own two eyes. He just happens to be a chemical weapons expert at Deseret Chemical Activity. which is a part of Tooele Army Depot. I knew of at least one soldier that was exposed to nerve agent in Taji, and a bunker of agent was found here at Balad. So, would you mind please getting ALL of the facts before you go spouting nonsense?
