I don't really know what I think of the bomb but I'm not liking a bit off it.

I think the people back in the WWII days had a greater sense of right and wrong, clarity, and purpose. Today under our strict definitions of political correctness many people will find fault, but I am not one of them. I can only guess that going through, what these people went through, the decision to drop the bomb was the right thing to do and no one at that time would have questioned its motives. |

I think it was justified. the Island hopping campaigns took a huge toll on AMERICAN human life, invading the main land would have been devastating for both sides. 140,000 civilians is a high price but 1 they started it and 2 better them than us |

america is the only country to use nukes, the bombs were dropped in civilian popualtions, i had a hard time w/ this, my co worker said "it ended the war" and i agreed yes.
have we actually progressed as a people, you see the video of the victims running away from the death cloud with their skin falling off and you must challenge yourself.
there is a reason other countries want nukes, it speaks power but bush made everything cheap, we must re-evaluate our threats under obama, the republicans cannot help us cause they were convinced sadam was our threat as were his people.
