What can you bring to army BCT?

I know the basics but as far as bringing a straightner and makeup, or twezers. Can I bring them so on family say i look presentable? If not can my mom bring them on family day so I will have them when I attend AIT?
Also do they check your bags very good that I wouldn't be able to hide tweezers or make up?
I know I won't use make up or straightner during BCT, nor do I care to this just applies to graduation.

A change of clothes maybe if that. You will be able to buy essentials you need while at BCT. They will search your bags in and out and whatever they find that you cannot have they will lock away until your graduation. Before graduation/family day they will most likely take you somewhere do get all prettied up. Don't be the one caught with a cell phone, the Drill Sergeants will humiliate you. |

YOU are NOT going to summer camp!
DON'T start off on the wrong side of the Drill Sergeants by bringing contraband - tweezers, make-up, etc.. to include cell phones!
YOU will be given a debit card once you start training, this is for getting toiletries, female supplies, pens, paper, laundry soap, etc... in the PX! |
