What do I have to get released from the Army's IRR?

I am active duty US coast guard and signed up even before they recalled me. To even get recruited, I had to be released from the IRR and get paper work saying I was released before heading to CG basic. Then I had to do it again in basic, (the process to get released to join the USCG) and then had to do it a third time. And now they still trying to recall me and say I am in the IRR, when I shouldn't even be in. How can I get this resolved?

Err did that already. Seems like they lost my file.

I have seen this even within the Army components. BLUF..the personnel systems do not communicate even within the Army.
I have a friend that got off active duty, went IRR for 9 months then came in the Guard. After about a year in the Guard he received mobilization orders (for the IRR). F*cked up huh?
Contact the Army HRC and provide them with you USCG info and they will drop you right away. |
