Find answers to your legal question.

What do i do to become a Naval Aviator?

I am currently In high School and plan on being a pilot. Do I have to go to college and get A degree in Aviation first then join the navy or, Do i just join the navy and become a Pilot? Please help...

You can't just join as a pilot. The navy requires all pilots to be officers, and you have to have a bacherlor's degree.
The section on their recruitment website (http://www.navy.com/careers/officer/aviation/) doesn't give detailed specifics on how to go about becoming a pilot, though. If I were you, I would set up an appointment to speak with a Navy recruiter about this. You could even get out of class to do it!

Except for an extremely small number of enlisted personnel selected for flight school, Student Naval Aviators must first obtain an officer commission. To become a Naval or Marine Corps Aviator, one must be between the ages of 19 and 26 when entering flight training. Adjustments (waivers) can be made up to 24 months for those with prior service, and up to 48 months for those already in the military at the time of application.[4]

Naval Officers are commissioned through three sources: The United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) at a number of universities across the country, Naval Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island, or via Marine Corps Officer Candidates School in Quantico, Virginia. Coast Guard Officers receive their commissions either from the United States Coast Guard Academy or Coast Guard Officer Candidate School, both located in New London, Connecticut. Graduates of these programs are commissioned as Navy Ensigns, Coast Guard Ensigns, or Marine Second Lieutenants. Individuals must pass an aeronautical screening and be selected for pilot training prior to being designated as Student Naval Aviators (SNAs).

Got to college and get a four year degree in a science field, then if you are still interested, go to your local recruiting office with that piece of paper and tell them you want to fly. Do NOT "enlist." You wish a commission and get it in writing that you are to attend the flt school here in Pensacola, Fl..

You have to go to college first - but it doesn't necessarily have to be aviation school.
My brother went to Embry Riddle (one in Arizona and one in Florida) which is a degreed aviation school and is great. He flies jumbos now and loves it. You have to have good health and eyes of course - it is possible to get laser eye surgery to correct vision beforehand. You can't be colorblind as a friend of mine unfortunatey found out on his entrance test.
You basically have to get a bachelors - it's a very good idea to have something in science or related like geography or cartography, but not really required. My brother was in Air Force flight school with Drama and English majors! Their scores on aptitute tests mattered a lot too I'm sure.
But it's for sure a good idea to get your normal light aircraft pilots license in the mean time as well.
Good luck!

Have you asked a Naval recruiter? They would know which path is best.

Work your but off. Get good grades. If you are lucky, you get into a military academy.

if not, there are still chances. there is a point system they use...you get points for doing NROTC. You get points for doing well in College and also points for a pilots license.

Number one thing though is get your college degree.

One thing to add on top of everything else..

Initial flight school can take up to two years! On top of that, your obligation begins AFTER you finish basic school. Since that obligation may be anywhere from 6 to 8 years, most pilots retire at the 20 year mark anyway because by the time they get out, they will have hit the 10 or 11 year mark already.
