A friend of mine has recently been deployed to Iraq. I am not sure what to send him, besides letters of course. Any suggestions?

Theres tons of things you can send him. One thing they ask for is SOCKS! Packets of tuna, wipes, disposable razors, ramein noodles, sweetened koolaide.... hard candies, pre-packaged cookies, little Debbies, magazines.... to name a few, theres just so many things they need, or would appreciate. You can get a list from a website..... |

i had a friend who was in desert storm and said that him and the guys in his squad loved it when someone sent them cookies. so when another friend of mine left for Iraq i sent some cookies and got a letter asking for more from him and the guys in his squad |

i send my husband pictures of me and our sons, pringles, cookies, body wash, deodorant, fruit snacks, rice crispies, candy (no chocolate) and car magazines
(thats all i can think of off the top of my head right now) |

Basic hygeine supplies like tooth paste tooth brushes etc,
And candy (not candy that can melt like chocolate)

I was sent the basic stuff uhh bars of soap,callincards,pens pencils,paper,Dont send bottles of liquids,perishable food,and weapons. hope this helps |
