My father and uncle were in the Army, and my brother in law and cousin are in right now (I went Air Force). I greatly respect them for the service and sacrifice they bring to this country and support the base functions at Fort Campbell near where I live in Honor of them.

we should train a lot more snipers. we have the most accurate sniping rifle known to man, i don't see the need to get our infantry too close to the enemy.

the most technologically advanced in the world and the most expensive - after four years of iraq and five years of afghanistan we can all see that. Equipped and trained for a conventional or nuclear war. This one against insurgents and terrorists is showing us all the difficulties involved as it has been four long years for afghanistan and five for iraq - the terrorists and insurgents are still resisting with fresh supplies of troops and weapons - funding - even though so many key leaders nad how many tens of thousands of insurgents killed - still there is a war in iraq and afghanistan

Great fighting force but has inept leaders. No one wants to say it, but the most powerful military in the world stalled from tacking an insurgency using homemade bombs and small arms. I blame the leaders for holding the troops back, embedding reporters in their units, forcing them to train and embed with Iraqis. Taking cities, abandoning them, then having to take them again. The civilian leadership and the top generals should be ashamed.

I have nothing but love and much respect for the men and women in the US Army. But I can't say the same for our president. Our troops need to come home! We've already lost so many, how many more will have to lose their lives? I pray for each and everyone of them, and whenever I see one in the streets, I tell them thank you!

Overall I think the Army is the strongest fighting force on the planet and I enjoy everyday that I am a part of it. On a smaller scale their are a lot of things that could be fixed. I've been in for 6 years and seen respect and loyalty slowly slip away. And their are people bringing other problems into our great Army that shouldn't be there, such as gang violence. And my advice to all those people out there, There are only one set of colors we all are a part of, and that's Red, White, and Blue.

I think they need to come HOME, and let the iragi people figure out their gov't themselves. I say this, cause my friend is in irag as we speak, and I hope everyday he's safe and protected by the grace of GOD. So that's what I think. Hope u like what I say.
