As probably one of the few Brits on this site who knows a little about the Indianapolis i think it is fine.iirc there is, inevitably, a conspiracy attached to the story

The Indianapolis was indeed a tragic event in Second World War history. But it doesn't need me to watch youtube videos over sixty years later to know that.

Very moving. One of the survivors lived in the Seattle area (he died last year) but I had the opportunity of talking to him about the ordeal in the water. The event seemed to define every day of his life. He never got over it.
