I think of September 11th which was the whole reason this war happened. And no, we are not in Iraq because of oil, it's because of the world trade center, it's because we were attacked. I think of all the people who have lost brothers and sisters, i think of all the people who have signs on their cars that say, "Support the Troops". It think of our president and the presidential candidates. I just want this war to be over and done with. |

I think of an risky political decision by President Bush to take decisive action with regards to the ongoing situation in Iraq, and the overall situation in the Middle East.
I think of a decisive military victory, and of a peoples oppressed for decades going to vote in a representative government, being freed from a tyrannical government, taking action to build a government for themselves from the ground up, of a remarkably successful and signal event in the Middle East.
I think of the treasonous behavior of the Democrats regarding Iraq, undermining our troops when they are in battle, mouthing enemy propaganda, doing everything in their power to make the mission a failure. This is something I will NEVER forget. |

I think of a long hard war and a complicated political situation. And I think of Brave men and women fighting a terrible enemy and being under-appreciated both at home and abroad. There are so many differing opinions about Iraq that people can debate it for hours. What shocks me is people spend most of their time agueing about whose fault it is rather than how to solve it. When I see the reactions that the war evokes, I just think about the ignorance and hate of people who have nothing better to do with their time than condemn others. Whether or not you agree with how and why the war started, it did start. The question now becomes how will it end? |

I thank our troops and pray for them to be safe. I think, wow we just saved that country from a dictator who loved to torture and kill his own people. I think we saved the Kurdish population that that dictator gassed for fun. I think we are helping to rebuild their country. I think that our military are over there rebuilding hospitals and schools. I think the people of that country now have a voice, they don't have to live in a constant state of fear. I think that our troops see the war a lot differently than our media, I think that everyone I know that's over there aren't afraid to die if those people get rights, I think of all the stories I've heard when they've come home on leave. I think of the kids they tell me about, and the wonderful work they're doing with those kids. I think that if we hadn't gone into their country there would still be a dictator over there that liked to invade countries, that hated the U.S for saving those countries. I thank our President for helping that country out of the pitiful state they were in. But mostly I thank our troops that are over there dying to save my rights as well as the Iraqi's rights. God bless our troops.
Twobucksanchange I just read what you said, thank you for your service and dedication to our country. |

I think of my husband who is serving his third tour now. I think of our children who cried when they said goodbye to him. I think of the everyday struggles we both share being apart. I also think of the tremendous pride I have in him for going and serving without ever complaining. I am so proud of him and I cant wait for the homecoming!! Pray for our troops.:) |

I think of all of the innocent lives that have been lost , on both sides. because of lies - no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, no Al Qaeda. and absolutely nothing to do with September 11th. |
