Terrorism in Iraq would increase until the government disbanded or was killed. With no government, the military would be nothing more than sectarian fighters. The terrorists would take over the country... and if you thought Hussein was bad...
The terrorists would claim a military victory in spite the fact that they didn't have a military, and they refused to engage us. Their rationale... "We are here.The us is not." That's all they can hope for.
I think you''d see a massive push by terrorists to obliterate Israel.
And I believe they will become bolder and try to spread terror in any country that will coddle them... like the US. They need to be publicly tried by military tribunal, and executed probably by burning. You don't like it? You find that disgusting? Well they won't like the idea either. And maybe they'll stop the terrorism when the consequences become too terrible... even for them... There are no indications of any kind that anything else could be effective. |

The Irak would have to learn to defend themselves but the Al Qaida will end up taking control. This war took too long, so defeat was inevitable.
Only one solution, they'll need to take that experimental sentry gun and install it at all of the most dangerous checkpoint. Thus, sealing the Al Qaida's movement and dissecting their movements to their origin. |

Very shortly a total civil war, the Iraqi's who assisted or supported us would be butchered to start, Iran would move into Southern Iraq to "protect the Shiites there, Syria would move in to central and part of northern Iraq to protect the Sunni's there and the Turks would possibly (less likely then other two) move into the northern section to keep the Kurds from establishing an independent homeland on the border. Terrorist and anti-American groups would be jubilant and move forward with the plans on taken over Saudi Arabia and continue their jihad. Either that or we would all sing that old refrain "All we are saying is give peace a chance..." together and dismantle all weapons bigger then a BB gun. Your choice on which is more likely. |

The civil war that is going on now, would escalate into full blown religious maniacial lunacy! hundreds of thousands would be slaughtered, if not millions! The whole middle east would go to war over religious madness, and within 6 months it would be all over! Millions dead of course, all in the name of Allah and his infinite mercy!..And then the 'Saddams' would come back, set up the usual despotic governments and things would return to normal..Until it starts all over again!
Being in Iraq, is only prolonging the agony, were never going to stop the inevitable!..Get out now is the answer, and let them solve it in the Islamic way!..When they have, simply clean up the detritise, and let things get back to normal middle eastern despotic dictatorships! Its been that way for 1400 years and Mr. Podner, we aint gunna change it! |
