What does "ARMY STRONG" mean?

ARMY STRONG!

I was in the army and it make good sence to me. There is a army strong. A strong that you get when you know you have to do something that others wont or can't. A physical and emotional stength that that builds caracter and pride.

It means being strong physically and mentally and being able to perform your duties no matter how tough they are. You may be strong, but are you army strong?

It's better than the "Army of One" campaign they had. In combat the last thing you want to be is alone. Now they've changed it to "Be a soldier in The Army of One."

I was in the Navy but it makes sense to me. You have to a very determined and tenacious person to make it through a tour in the Army, Navy or Marines. (anyone I spoke to in the Air Force said it was pretty much a 9-5 job)

Army strong means that its strengthen in the Army. We have to step outside ourselves and dig a little deeper to accomplish our missions. We have to do what we think may be impossible. As for people knocking our branch who are in other branches, it takes my army strength to look pass your immaturity and feel proud to serve. As for the Army of one slogan it did not mean we fight individually as I too thought so at first but it meant we are all ONE big team. No soldier left alone ever like our battle buddy system of I watch your back and you watch mine so we are both watched out for always or like having 360 degree security. Both slogans make sense. And all branches are needed to make our American military as great as it is. Hooah!

"Army Strong" means just what it implies, To me it means to step up and do things that others would never dream of doing, to serve in America's Army by protecting the freedoms that our countrymen enjoy. It was an Honor to serve in the U.S. Army, Pride and knowing I did my part for my beloved U.S.A.

it doesn't matter what branch you join, and whether you decide to go active duty, or are in the reserves.. it's a HUGE responsibility, and not most people can just step up like that.. and decide to serve their country.
you have to have the strength to lead, not to follow.

Army Strong is a new euphemism thought up by the marketing people, to keep the recruits coming in and signing up. Haven't you noticed the army slogans change often. They don't want these slogans getting stale. What happened to "an army of one", or the many catch phrases that preceded it? You get the idea!

It's not like WW II, when "Uncle Sam want's you ", lasted throughout the war.

ARMY STRONG, if I interpret it correctly, means that soldiers out of basic training are not just physically fit, they are well trained and mentally capable, as well !

It means being strong enough to keep the committment you made when you enlised, and not when things get a little rough go posting a question, like " How to I get out of the Army, I don't like it."

One who is Army strong reaches in his heart for that something extra, he does not want out.

It means you are strong enough to be in the army or you are part of a army that is strong meaning that you beat people that you fight in war or whatever.

It's just a recruiting slogan.

Just like that yellow and black star isn't actually the official Army emblem. It just looks cooler than the one with the cannons and flags and stuff on it.

well apparently the previous slogan "army of one" didn't have the desired recruiting effects... so they went back to the same company that came up with the better known slogan " be all that you can be" who cam up with "Army Strong
" it is supposed to be a take on the Marine slogan " the few the proud" giving the Army a more elite look like the Marines have. The slogan also encompasses what it means to be a soldier... that it takes a different type of strength to accomplish the tasks the army puts in front of you. That is why they will make you Army Strong.
