im leaving pretty soon and joining as a rifleman i was just wondering what happens after basic i know you do another training thing but whats it like???

You go to the school of cool at singleton, apparently its alot harder the Kapooka but you would expect that, basically you do alot of exercises, live fire, and learn all the things necessary of a full qualified rifleman, it's pretty much explained on the defence jobs website, if not try ausspecialforces.com the forums on there are great.
After that you get posted to a battalion, I saw you asked in questions before about going into the police force, i heard they aren't very keen on ex rifleman as they are rifleman, sure the army shows all the good qualities of respect, focus and what not, but your in as a rifleman, so you should have an HSC to back it up. |

uhh depends if your just basic army or like you are going to learn a trade or be a medic or be in the SAS. all of the training would sway towards learning those courses |
