One might expect to see three holes in the pentagon, one for the main body and two more for each engine. The engine and engine parts were found outside of the building, they never penetrated the building thus no hole was created by them. The deep 18 foot hole was most probably made by an on board missile and not the aircraft itself. A radiation expert claims high-radiation readings near the Pentagon indicates depleted uranium (DU) munitions may have been used.

The Jet engine(s) found may be key to identifying what type of aircraft hit the Pentagon: At the very least, they help determine a Boeing 757 did not hit the Pentagon. Both the jet engine housing as well as a "front end rotor head" have been identified as belonging to a Pratt & Whitney JT8D jet engine. The P&W JT8D engine has been used on the smaller Boeing 727 as well as a retrofit for the A-3 Skywarior. Two P&W JT8D's do not provide enough power to get a Boeing 757 off the ground much less sufficient thrust to perform the military precision maneuvers the aircraft in question performed.

The landing gear is one part found in the crash site that may be linked to a Boeing 757. It could also be a part that was retrofitted on an A-3 Skywarrior, since the wheels would most likely need to be replaced with something still available.

To figure out how long the aircraft is, that is hiding behind the call box; we can measure it by comparing it to surrounding objects of know sizes and with the help of a little geometry we can calculate the size of the aircraft.

The distances can be scaled from a satellite image of the pentagon, where each of the five walls is known to be 921.6 ft in length.

The call box measurement was scaled from the video above, where the patrol car is know to be about. 16.5 ft in length.

The aircrafts length will be a ratio between the call box of 2.5 ft. is to 28.8 ft ( distance of camera to call box) as "The aircraft" is to 691.2 ft. (distance of camera to the aircraft). The resultant length will need to be multiplied by the "square root of 2 " (I.414) to take into account the 45 degree approach angle of the plane.

Plug in the numbers:
2.5' / 28.8' = "X" / 691.2'
2.5' x 691.2' / 28.8' = "X"
60' = "X"
60' x 1.414 = 84.84 feet maximum aircraft length.

A Boeing 757 is 155 ft. 3 in.
A Douglas A-3 Skywarrior is 76 ft. 4 in. *
A Global Hawk RQ-4 is 44 ft. 4.75 in. *
An Air launched Cruise Missile is 20 ft. 9 in.

Flight 77. Since there were about 175 eyewitnesses all report seeing the the Flight 77 crash into Pentagon.
Plus the crash investigators had the black box and all the people on the plane where identified.

I don't really know. I believed it was an airplane until I saw a show on TV that showed the devastation should have been greater if it was a plane, and they showed how it could have been a missile.

So I don't know WHAT I believe now!!
