What hospitals accept Tricare Prime in New York City?

I am a pregnant Marine Wife and my husband is deployed. We are currently living in North Carolina and I want to go back to my hometown Bronx, NY for the last month of my pregnancy and to give birth. I was wondering if anyone knows what hospitals accept Tricare Prime. Thank You

I am 99.9% positive that all hospitals take tricare prime. The problem usually arises when tricare decides whether or not they want to pay for your claim. Sometimes when you go for emergency specialty care they will shoot the claim back because you didn't have a referel. I believe that birthing goes through with no problem. Call Tricare to be sure.

Get ahold of tricare and ask them for a list of hospitals in the area that accept tricare. Also find out if there is anything you need to do before going home to have your baby. Since you are a part of tricare north there shouldn't be problem.

You should not have a problem in NY as there are military posts there. But just to be sure you won't have to submit the bill to Tri-Care yourself just call the hospital and ask or go to Tri-Cares website and see if it is listed.

all hospitals will accept tricare insurance. Im 100% sure. My wife went back to her home town to give birth also and I had the same question.
