Clinton would never start war in Iraq. |

It's hard to say, because he didn't. |

he didn't have the spine to start a war. But if you remember right he loved to shoot cruise missiles at a million bucks a pop, on one particular day 450 of them. Every time he got his butt in a sling and wanted to divert attention from himself or his wife's antics. |

The Iraq Liberation Act was passed by the Congress, at his urging, in 1998. The reasons given for us to liberate Iraq are almost identical to the reasons set forth in Public Law #107-243, passed in 2002, which authorized offensive military operations against Iraq. The source below is the link to the Iraq Liberation Act. |

Unfortunately for you, she didn't so its all hypothetical and your feelings, as well as everyone else's will be clouded by what you personally think of her. |

I agree with some of the others.
This war is only bad because the news and media are so biased over it make it look bad along with Bush. Had either of the Clintons done it, or anybody else who dares to say that the war is a waste declared war on Iraq, then It would be a "good" war. Truth be told, most of the media is a bunch of little nagging hypocrites who are unsatisfied in living in the world's greatest country no matter what.
For example. Global Warming. It's a load of crap. After the Ice Age, how many cars and factories were around to pollute the Earth to make it heat up? None.
What whatever happened to Global Cooling around 30 years ago? I thought scientists were saying that the world will freeze over. Well to these "scientists", people are catching on. Climate is a mere PATTERN. It will be hot one year and cooler the next. Big Deal.
People would see Global Warming as I do if Bush said it were true. |

Well, then, it would be a "good war", wouldn't it? Since it's now a "bad war" with a Republican in the White House, I mean. |

He had 8 years to do so and didn't, but he did spend over $100 billion in those 8 years "containing" Saddam though its now clear Saddam was paying off the UN to get his way. Clinton did start the war in Bosnia where we are still involved today at a much lessor degree - and no one complains. Of course that is a war against the Christians for the Islamic followers so its clear why that is "ok." |

You would NEVER have to worry about that, Clinton had no balls!! Look at all the countries who walked all over us during his term!! Thanks Bill!! |

In a round about way he did! While he was in office he didn't address any of the problems we had with them. He was to busy with his personal life. Many people think he was a good president but ya know he was a good president because he didn't do anything. He didn't do anything to make people think or to change the way anything worked. He was to worried about himself and his girlfriends to worry about the country or the well being of other people in other countries. |

One could argue that Bill did, shooting the rocket into that empty factory. Although I'd like to thing if we really did try to eliminate the terrorists, like he was supposed to, that I'd support him. |

It would have been solved and over a long time ago. That's what happens with great leadership skills. We would probably even be started on building back up a surplus and you wouldn't be paying no $3 a gallon for gas. See, if your going to fight a war it's a good thing to have a plan. Usually ahead of time. |

Clinton didn't start the Iraq War. That was done by the first Bush. However Clinton had his chances to eliminated Osama Bin Laden and Saddam and decided not to take them. So no he didn't start the war but he had a chance to A.) Stop it from happening
B.) Stop 9/11 from happening.
So blaming Bush for this is nonsense, Bush has done what every American wanted him to do. Now because things are going poorly we are looking for someone to blame. When it isn't Bush's fault that it is taking so long. He was advised to go in with a "light footprint," had we gone in and beat the mess outta the country the was would be over and Iraq would be some-what stable. If we leave now the country will implode on itself and a horrible individual, probably worse than Saddam, will take over. |

totally implausible question... implies that the resistance in this country to the war has to do with contempt of Bush as the sole reason of dissent.
The reason why people hate the war, regardless of the current progress, for which I am relieved and grateful to see, is that we were taken to war on false pretexts, lied to repeatedly, andit was handled completely ineptly for the first few years since they refused to listen to their own generals on how to actaully run a war.
So if Clinton made all those mistakes he would be equally reviled. However, he didn't. Instead he led us through the most prosperous time in the history of the country. |
