Im Leaving may 13 for boot camp and i am very worried that they are going to kick me out of the navy for not being able to pass the run. What happens if i don't be very specific please.

They will re test you until you can pass. They will work you an get your body use to running. |

Generally if you can't pass pt, they will put you in a holding platoon where all you do is PT until you can pass, then you would join a new group and finish boot camp. At least that is how it is for the Marines. |

I am not sure how they do it in the Navy but in the Army you had multiple times to pass the PT run. To even get into the actual boot camp you had to pass a mini PT test to see if you were fit enough to start training. If you failed that (which is hard to fail- it is pretty easy) you will be put in a "fat camp" and worked out until you can pass it. Then you will go to boot camp and start the actually training. I believe I had at least 3 PT tests during bootcamp and they didn't really matter until the final one (the others were to see your progress). |

I was in the Navy and I could not run. You only have to be able to run 2.5 miles to pass the final PT test.
When you get there initially they do a PT test and if you are unable to run the 2.5 at that time, they force you to go to PT every morning and by the time you are done boot camp you will be able to pass that test with flying colors. |

At Recruit Training Command, if you don't pass it by your like 6th week in training, you will be sent to ship 6. There you will run appox. 3-5 PT tests a week until you pass it. There were guys in there who haven't passed it in 30 days.
As soon as you pass it, you will graduate Navy boot camp and start you career as a sailor, whether you division graduated or not.
If you don't, ship 06 is a depressing holding cell. You don't pass it, you don't leave, simple.
