What is MEPS in Portland ME like?

I will be going to MEPS in the next few weeks. Just wondering what its like there. Is it busy? How many people go everyday? Is the hotel nice? Give me all the information you can! Thanks!

Well all MEPS follow same procedures, unless your talking about the conditons of the facilities.

MEPS is a place you would hate to go. Its all about wait, wait wait wait x 10000^1000. You get the point. But it gets real boring even though they have TVs on and magazines there.

Yes its very busy, rather your taking the ASVAB, taking physicals, or taking oath. How many people? I dont know, early in the morning, there are not as many. But throughout the day, it gets busier and buiser.

Hotel? I dont know what hotel your going into since your in Portland, but the one I went to was pretty nice, like a regular nice hotel. The food isnt that great though lol.

All in all, I had to goto MEPS 4 times since I split up my days (asvab, physicals, taking oath, shipping out).

Trust me, after all that, I NEVER want to go back. Its the most boring place on earth. Thats because you cant bring ipods, cell phones, and all the things you need to keep you busy..

But good luck, you will enjoy lol
