What is a good Army Reserve Job with some combat ?

Listen up Rambo. Any job with combat is a bad job albeit necessary. There is no glamor, there is no hoping to kill. There is only the fact that you are going to kill them before they kill you. Please keep that in mind and pray for the ones you will kill before and after you do. BTW. The bullets cannot make it down range with out somebody in the typing pool filing the ammo requisitions. Everyone does there part and once you are in you will see that. The brave thing to do is put on the uniform and serve your country in the best manner you can. If that is combat so be it. If you are good in math or science then be an engineer and build some new tanks or planes. Just don't do honor guards or music. They are mearly advertising tools. Be a somebody.

You most likely will not get a Combat Oriented MOS due to your color blindness, but there is a chance for everyone to get some action. Cooks are being put in the drivers seat of Haliberton trucks because contractors makes most of the grub.

I would say MP but since your colorblind thats out...you cant get anything combat orientated when your color blind...my color blind friend joined as a combat medic

MP or Truck Driver. The Resreves don't have Combat Arms so if that's your interest go Army National Guard

the only combat your going to get being color blind is like medic, and radio man, and if you want to be shot first go right ahead and be radio man....im color blind too :(

they dont have combat jobs in the reserves they have mp but idk if you can do that being colorblind

If memory serves, you can be an MP if you can distinguish red/green colors even if you fail the main color vision test. If you are TOTALLY colorblind, the closest you can get to the line is you join as a 68W specifically in a Reserve MP unit or a National Guard combat arms unit. Don't just take a random 68W slot cause you could get a lot of different assignments. You have to specify that you want an MP or combat unit and get it in your contract. The Guard can do that... the Reserves might not be able to.

It's complete and total BS when they say the reserves have no combat arms, there is one infantry unit out of all the army reserves, 442nd infantry 100th Battalion of Hawaii. As for what job you should get that's really up to you, but the colorblind thing might slow you down a bit. Good luck with getting in
