im been talking to this dude on army.com and he said that he can refer me to a recruiter and have them contact me and pre-qualify me for the army? is this real or not?

It stands for "United States Army Recruiter" and yea that seems real. Whoever writes you back should have their name, rank, unit, and all that other crap at the bottom of their page also. |

USAREC in United State Army Recruiting Command. If it is a .mil sight it should be safe. WWW.GOARMY.COM should link you to it. As far as looking Recruiter a Recruiter I would do it in person not on the net. |
