You know you're gonna get lots of different answers for this one. Your best bet is to talk to a recruiter from each branch and talk about which one would work best for you. |

i think it really depends on what you are looking for.
want to travel?? any of these would be great active i mean. even the air force. if you dont mind spending long months on a ship the navy
and if you want to stay close to home?? national guard will prob be the best. coast guard isnt that bad either. i heard anyways
make sure you do your research though. im in the guard i probably would have done coast guard but im enjoying it |

i've always heard that the air force gives the best benefits, pay, and housing
but my husband is enlisting in the army next month. its just a personal decision you will have to make |

Totally depends on you, your interests, and what you want to do. Check out all the websites and talk to some recruiters. |

I guess the Air Force is out of the question?
From your list, I would say Coast Guard. |

What is the Best Military Group to join?
FOR ME: USMC (78 - 82), NM-ANG (83) & Air Force (83 - 92)
For you, you would have to weigh the pros / cons
note to PFC USMC:
How can an AD Hard-charging azz-kicking super-duper ultra-Marine FORGET after that HELL of a Boot Camp that its Marine C-O-R-P-S or Marine Corps?
Just Askin' and, by the way, if every one could be a Marine, it would NOT be as GREAT to hold that title "Marine".
We are all on the same side and I have served with GREAT Airmen, Sailors, Soldiers and even Coasties. |

I was always told by different people in the military, that the Air Force was the way to go. The way I hear it, they take better care of you and your not in the middle of all the violence the way you are in the Army, or Marines. I have friends from all military branches.
I guess itt all boils down to what it is your looking for in the long run as far as training and education. Just like different colleges, the armed forces offer different things. |

You get paid the best in the Air Force. You get the best benefits and bases when in the Army. You get the Pride when in the Marine Corps. And you get to swim with the other two. Its pretty much up for you to decide. |
|

No Pun Intended
|
Instead of looking at it like that, why don't you look at each one separately and see who offers the best training to learn a skill, Not that I recommend the military, only as a last resort |

i would say none right now the country is fighting for the dumbest reasons ever. obama's gonna pull back the troops. ahooting guns and working your *** off everyday isnt something i would want to do but this is just my opinion join if you want. |

Air force, but they are VERY picky. If you don't have 3.5+ Gpa, go for Army. |

There is no best...do you want to be a Marine, a Soldier, a Sailor, or an Airman?
What kinds of jobs do you want? There isn't one overall best |

When trying to decide what branch of military to join you need to think about what you are looking for. For example, I joined the U.S. Marine Corps because of the reputation. I'm not saying anything bad about the other branches, I'm just saying that the Marines have the reputation for being the best and the baddest. I wanted to go into a branch of military that is known for their standards. I was looking for the challenge and I wanted to be in that brotherhood. All branches have something to offer, the thing you need to think about is what do you have to offer to the United States military, know this and you will know which branch to choose. |
