What is the best Military Branch?

I was in the Navy and my fiance was in the Airforce so I would have to say Airforce. They treat personnel better. The Navy puts the nees of the Navy first and the Airforce seems to care more about their personnel having a bettte quality of life.

I hate this question!
There is no BEST BRANCH. They all are essential. They all do a specific job. They are like different parts of a body. The military couldnt function if one was missing.
If you are considering joining you need to do the research for yourself. Talk to various recruiters. But most importantly...talk to people who have served in different branches. Dont let them sway you, just get info on what each one offers. Go from there. It all depends what intrests you and what you are best suited for.
All you are gonna get by asking that question here online is people saying go Navy because they were Navy-Go Marines becaues they were a Marine, Go Army becaue they were Army.
Im Army and i dont do that. I tell people do the research yourself and decide what you like!

As a member of the military (go army) I would have to say it depends on what you're interested in doing for a job. Each branch offers similar specialties, but differ. If you like the field and playing in the woods, than go with the marines, if you like ships and aircraft and trade jobs, the navy, aircraft and more technical jobs, than the air force. Than there is the catch all. the army offers a little of everything. We're probably more physically challenging than the air force/navy, but less physical than marines. Your mental challenge may be higher in the air force depending on your job. But like i said in the begining, research them all and decide what you want to do with your life. Good luck

Best food = Navy
Best enlisted quarters = Air Force
If you enjoy the outdoors = Army
If you like being the first to combat = Marines
don't want to Join the Navy but still like boats - Coast Guard

personally I was in the Army, but I always liked camping....lol

The Navy because we are the only branch that can engage in battle on land (don't forget, the Marines are a branch of the Navy), in the air (the best aviators in the world are Navy Aviators), and of course in the Sea.

Naval Officers are the sharpest, Naval Military Lawyers are the brightest, and Navy uniforms are the coolest.

If you're asking which performs best, the answer is all of them...depending on the mission (that's why they all exist...none of them are expendable).

If you're asking which would be the best for you to join, then it depends on your goals and priorities. Want the best uniforms and most bad-a** reputation? Join the Marines. Want to fly helicopters or drive tanks or shoot big guns? Join the Army. Want to get away for months at a time and see the world one seaport at a time (while having pilots land over your head at 200mph on a moving postage stamp--at night--in the water)? Join the Navy. Want to have the best facilities, best IT technology, best pilots and best rates of employment upon separation? Join the Air Force.

In my family, we've got people in all five services (I'm including the Coast Guard in there, too!) We all agree that the AF has the best base facilities, but the uniforms make you look like a bunch of bus drivers. On the other hand, as the joke goes, the AF doesn't deploy someplace unless they have air conditioning and pizza delivery. (Personally, I like it that way). But my cousin wouldn't trade his "time in the sandbox" with his Marine buddies for anything.

Go to an activity like an airshow or VFW parade. Talk to members of the different services and do some research. Make up a list of what's important to YOU. Good luck.

That is impossible to say without telling us what you want to do. The toughest branch overall is the Marine Corps, which makes it better in a lot of ways. But there are things a lot tougher and "better" in other branches.

If you want to go infantry then either Army or the Marines is what you want. After that most of the jobs kind of overlap in the services.

It depends on what you mean by 'best'.

The best fighting force is the Marines - they are hardcore mofos.

Army special forces are up there too, not to mention navy seals. All very good soldiers. Definitely the people I would want on my side in a battle.

If you mean 'the best to join' I would go with the air force or navy - since you have a little less chance of being deployed into the current clusterf**k in iraq.

Impossible to answer. All the branches and departments are critical in defending our great nation. The question is really subjective and any answers are only opinions. I can tell you, we all rag one another all the time and try to out do one another constantly but when the heat is on, we become one big cohesive team. A lot depends on what an individuals likes and dislikes are. If someone is extremely physical, maybe the Marines or Army might be a good choice. The Navy and Air Force (although they both have some pretty rough and tumble specialties) tend to be more technical in nature. Again, what is a person drawn to?

I'm married to an army officer. It's hard on the family but he seems to like it. If you're a family man/woman the airforce seen to be the way to go. They seen to be away less and to be put in less dangerous spot. It all depends on what type of person you are and how you react to different things. All branches play a vital role in protecting the USA so it's really up to what you feel you can handle.

The Army is best for occupation and policing countries.
