Sorry, you just have to finish and complete your contract because getting out of it would require something shady and illegal. Why don't you put your excess energy to bettering yourself in the Army. Take night classes and get a degree and apply for a commission as an officer. Try to cross-train into a field that would benefit you greatly if you still want to get out of the Army. Beside what would you do as a civilian, there are far fewer jobs to have to earn a living more than what you are getting now.

Sorry, but unless you have documentable depression due to the military, I really don't think that you deserve an honorable discharge. I am sure you enjoyed your re-enlistment bonus two years ago, but that came with a contract that you need to honor. Good luck!

I'd ask to talk with your commanding officer... see if you could get a leave to visit family and take a breather before you think about doing something to get out. You're almost done, don't risk it all now. Tell him/her about the depression too... People are there to help you.

That's not so bad.
The only way you're going to get honorable discharged without doing something drastic and silly(getting knocked up, running away) is just to finish up your contract.
I would find a new hobby to occupy my time, so you don't think so much about how you hate being in the service.
I was sort of in the same boat, but different branch. It got to a point where I didn't like what I was doing as a job, I didn't like the area I was stationed, I didn't like the "people" that I had to take orders from, I didn't like the politics, just all around I'd made the decision that this wasn't a career for me. It wasn't fun and I was miserable. I had just a little under 2 years left on my contract though.
So, I had to think of things to do outside of the military for 2 years that would keep me going. I went to work, did my duty, but after hours I had new stuff to do. I bought me a little beagle dog to be my buddy. I started playing world of warcraft.

The bottom line of this whole thing, try to find something to keep your focus off how much you want out right now, but what you can do to keep your eye off how much you have left.

You'll get through and come out clean(er) than if you just try to find something to get you out early.

Not much you can do for the honorable part but do your time.

If there is some SERIOUS depression going on you may be able to get an other-than-honorable discharge for medical/psych reasons. You could start by talking to your Chaplin and find out your options.

Get pregnant, elect a discharge, have an abortion (lots of bad decisions in that process IMO, but gets you out fast, with an honorable)
