No best way. It will follow you the rest of your life. Stick it out and grow up.

Don't do something stupid like shoot yourself in the foot. One of my buddies did that to keep out of Vietnam also. He not only lost most of his foot and would still be on crutches probably, he got kicked out of the service dishonorably, and wound up killing himself a few years later. I think dealing with the guilt and the shame he put on himself was the cause.

Tie the buffer cord around your neck and throw it out a second story window. Like the old army urban legend goes, make sure the cord isn't so long that the buffer will hit first because then they'll just charge you for it.

Just stick it out and finish, refuse training is a long hard road, don't be a wuss just finish what you started, you will proud of yourself

True story. One friend of mine, during Army basic towards the end of Nam, accidentally shot himself in the foot with a rifle from the kneeling position, he even got a disability out of it. Who knows, the Army might buy it twice.

Tell them you want out, you are allowed to change your mind in basic training and AIT but after that your screwed. Talk to a Drill Seargant and explain but be careful. They really don't want you to leave. But let me say this I was in the Army and I was medically discharged because I had epilepsy. That was during AIT, I so wish I could go back because those are some greatest times in my life. It still hurts that I wanted to do that and was not able. Somewhere along the way I am sure you thought the same thing so think it over and if all else fails fake a seizure.

say " I refuse to train" then you'll get stuck on kp for any where for 2 months to a year, and get discharged.
