Isn't it dumb that those criminals are in many cases just disarmed and left free to go? What do you think should be done? Is there not being any legal procedure existing against them a good enough excuse to let them free or should they be imprisoned anyway?

Pirates should not be taken prisoner, but shot at the scene of the crime. How can they get a fair trial in a foreign country, rather put them out of their misery once and for all.

As the western world becomes more and more civilised, so we have started to more and more respect the rights of the criminal at the expense of the victim. Strange isn't it. |

Although I agree with your sentiment regarding pirates, NATO has no legal authority to imprison hijackers once they are captured. A NATO jail simply doesn't exist. |
