Greco is wrong about intel limiting your assignment choices. There are intelligence positions at almost every base in the Air Force, both CONUS and OCONUS. Intel also has one of the most diverse career fields with 7 different enlisted AFSCs, and usually multiple types of jobs available within each AFSC.
For example, a 1N0 is called an Operations Intelligence Analyst. You could do assignments where you'd provide global geo-political analysis to high-ranking officers, tactical unit analysis where you would brief fighter pilots or heavy pilots and aircrew on enemy capabilities and tactics, brief ground crews on what to expect on their mission, work on human intelligence document exploitation, or anything in-between.
As a 1N1, Imagery Analyst, you could analyze and report on anything from satellite electro-optical, infrared, or radar imagery, reconaissance aircraft still-frame EO, IR, or radar imagery, or full-motion video exploitation.
I'm not going to get into the other career fields but they do some absolutely amazing things that are having direct combat influence right now in Iraq and Afghanistan...all from the comfort of their home base.
If you can snag an intel slot, definitely take it. I commanded hundreds of amazing intel professionals in my career. You would be working along side of some of the best trained folks in the world...for sure. |

Your electronics score qualifies you for pretty much any electronics job (satcom, etc.) You also qualify for pretty much all mechanical jobs too. General again pretty much all jobs, admin you won't have as many options. Overall you will have some pretty good options. I'm not sure what your interested in, but electronics is a good area to get into if thats what your interested in. You probably qualify for most everything with your scores. So it's up to you. If you want to wait until what you want to do is available it might take a year to get it. Otherwise you can go in on an open area and be subject to anything.
Intelligence career field limits your assignment choices a great deal.
Go through and look at all the jobs. The qualifications are listed along with possible assignments.
