WHat are the different tpes of test and questions can I prepare for. I had back surgery but I am completely good ( great ) to go. I heard about the duck walk but is there anything else

HEY i can answer this =)
I went to meps in montgomery in bama
Its basically a LONG physical.. They check blood pressure, vision, hearing, they take blood, AND they make you go in this room with other people and make you take off your clothes and you have to do these excersises that make sure you have no joint problems and then for guys they make you show your package and spread your butt cheeks.... ugh haha |

One piece of advice from me, wear underwear you feel comfortable in. You will be in front of other people, have to do squats, and excersizes. Also, when you're getting your physical, sit down very carefully, and don't lean back or else you will get a big hole in your paper dress and everyone will be able to see your butt.

The ASVAB was tough because it was long and grueling. I felt like I was failing the whole time but I got a 90 on the AFQT portion. Go back and study your FOIL method in algebra. Also practice vocab. Be sharp the day of your test because the Assembling Objects section was tough. Medical tests are a breeze and as long as you aren't debilitated or have scoliosis you will be fine. IF not the worst would be a doctor consultant appointment. The hardest part of the day is sitting around waiting all day. |

At meps they have you do a lot of tests such as hearing,vision,urine,blood,a private physical, and have you stand in a room with just the bare essentials (bra and panties for girls) and have you do all sorts of tasks from duck walks forward and back, to touching each finger with your thumb, its a fairly long process, it usually takes all day, they do give you 1 meal, everything is done in a circuit and you are herded from one station to the next with other people. Just make sure you follow directions, say yes sir/mam when needed and do what your told....if you do the process will go quite fast and you will be sworn in before you know it. good luck with going to MEPS, I was nervous and uneasy going there, but after it was over I was really motivated. |
