Do not worry about studying manuals for BCT. Biggest things are knowing the ranks (which they teach you there) and exercising. If you don't get in shape before you leave, you will when you get there--the hard way!
Oh, you will get a "Smart Book" to study when you get there. Use personal time or fireguard time to study it. It will help you greatly down the road.
