None. People have been making claims about all of the terrible things obama is going to do like steal everyone's guns and take away military benefits. They are still upset that a black man is smarter, more important and in charge of them.. |

He was looking to make wounded veterans private insurance cover the cost of their injuries received on active duty, before the VA would pay,
But after a quick letter writing campaign from the VFW, they stopped looking at that idea.
Pay raises will stay good, because of a law republicans passed that mandates pay raises of 0.5% above the annual cost of living increases.
The war in Afghanistan will prevent VA funding from going back to the small increases of the 1990's.
Basically as long as were in Iraq or Afghanistan, it will be political suicide to cut military or veteran benefits. |

My Marine grandson, after two tours in Iraq is now a student at Pace in NYC. He called to say that his Miltary Liason called all GI Bill students into his office to tell them that Obama signed a bill last night (2/8?) to cut their funding by half and that Pace will probably not let any of them stay since it is a private University and that they already pay half of their tuition. My grandson has 2 1/2 more years left to complete his studies. He just received an invitation from Pace to join the Tau Sigma Honor Society because he is in the top 15% of the whole University!!! And now he does know how he can complete his schooling at Pace without his promised finacial GI Bill paid tuition. Obama is taking away their combat pay and giving it to non-combat enlistees!!!!!!! What is that miserable rotten Obama thinking?????? |
